Campaign Story

Jon and Jazimina here! Many of you know this story and have been with us every step of the way– we couldn’t have arrived in the hopeful place we are today without you and we love you so very much! For those who are unfamiliar with our story: the universe took its sweet time in bringing us together, but it was well worth the wait! Our home is full of joy and art and loved ones and cats and a dog, and we are happier than we ever thought possible, but there is a place at the table for a little one which we long to fill. I am now 40 years old, and facing the resulting decline in fertility which this age brings. We have been trying to conceive for two years, and after one miscarriage and two failed rounds of IVF, our doctor told us that our best chance for starting a family is with a donor egg. We are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, and walking with a new bounce in our steps at the prospect of welcoming a child into our family at long last! Jon is a high school math teacher and I am a performing artist and early-childhood educator. Our family has been very generous, and we just need a bit of help to finish raising the funds for this expensive process. Our heartfelt thanks for your support!
